Ability Fest is going all-in on electronic music for 2026.
The fully accessible Melbourne festival has unveiled an all-DJ and live electronic lineup for its April return to The Timber Yard, with Australian dance heavyweights leading the charge and a new wave of club artists rounding out the bill.
Headlining the main stage on April 11th is PNAU, performing a DJ set that taps into decades of dancefloor history. They’re joined by Berlin-based Australian producer Logic1000, ARIA-nominated beatmaker Kito, and bass-forward selector Surusinghe.
Also set for main stage duties are Melbourne trio Blusher with a DJ set, high-energy producer Ollie Lishman, and local favourites Brent Honey and DJ Cooper Smith. The lineup also carves out space for genre-blurring live performances from daine and Robert Baxter, adding a layer of unpredictability to a bill otherwise built for the club.
Founded by 2022 Australian of the Year Dylan Alcott in collaboration with Untitled Group, Ability Fest remains Australia’s only fully accessible and inclusive music festival. Every element of the event is designed with access in mind, from elevated viewing platforms and quiet zones to sensory areas, Auslan interpreters and live captioning.
“I’m so pumped about this lineup,” Alcott said. “PNAU are Australian music royalty, Logic1000 and Kito are doing massive things internationally, and we’ve got incredible emerging artists across the board, including artists with disability. I can’t wait to see everyone on the dancefloor for another huge Ability Fest.”
Beyond the main stage, Ability Fest’s silent disco will spotlight a carefully curated cross-section of Australian electronic talent. Aquenta, Chaotiic Good, Djanaba (DJ set), Jade Zoe, JUPiTA b2b bbsanii, Lakatoi, louli b2b Stev Zar and Noe will bring everything from hypnotic techno to bass-driven house across the site.

The programming leans into The Timber Yard’s reputation as one of Melbourne’s most respected homes for electronic music, while reinforcing Ability Fest’s core mission: proving that safe and accessible events can comfortably sit beside any major festival in the country.
Accessibility infrastructure extends across the entire site, including dedicated parking and drop-off zones, accessible bathrooms and Changing Places facilities, a designated assistance dog area and BindiMaps navigation technology offering step-by-step wayfinding.
Importantly, the festival continues to keep ticket prices accessible too, with entry set at $60. Companion tickets remain free for carers.
As a not-for-profit event, 100 per cent of proceeds are donated to the Dylan Alcott Foundation. Since launching, Ability Fest has raised more than $1.5 million for the charity.
Accessible and previous purchaser pre sale opens Wednesday, 25th February at 10am AEDT via the Ability Fest website, with general pre sale following at 12pm the same day. General tickets go on sale Thursday, 26th February at 12pm AEDT.
