In My Room with PANIA

PANIA has performed a laid-back Rolling Stone AU/NZ In My Room with tracks off her latest EP 'Coming 2 Terms'

ARIA-nominated PANIA has performed a laid-back Rolling Stone AU/NZ In My Room session in the lead-up to a busy final few months of the year.

The Melbourne R&B star played tracks off her recently released EP Coming 2 Terms, which features three pre-released singles, “Switch sides”, “Pretty Girl Fly”, and the ARIA-nominated “Pity Party”, alongside two newer tracks, “Loner” and “Coming 2 Terms”.

The EP is a work of self-reflection, showcasing her new, focused purpose, according to PANIA.

“My goal from the start has always been to make people feel less alone through my music. Music has been my way of processing everything I’ve felt in life, and I want listeners all over the world to feel that connection too,” she said of its release.

It follows her 2022 debut EP burnt ur clothes & changed the addy, and 2023’s WE STILL YOUNG, which featured standout tracks such as “P STANDS 4 PLAYA”, “BURNA FONE”, and “PLAYLIST (ROCK DA BOAT)”.

“That first EP was me learning how to make songs with structure. I was still finding my voice. I didn’t grow up singing but when I wanted to write a song, I’d sing. So then whenever I was in the studio, I’d sing,” she told Rolling Stone AU/NZ in an interview in 2023.

PANIA is due to play two headline shows at Sydney’s Vic on the Park and Melbourne’s Bergy Bandroom later this month in support of the new EP, as well as an appearance with Six60 on the Sydney Opera House Steps in December. She’ll also be performing at Panorama Festival in Sydney on November 29th.
