Nabii is a Korean-Australian multi-hyphenate (producer, artist, and DJ) with a bright future ahead of her, if new single “in my room!” is any indication.
The euphoric hyperpop-infused dance anthem perfectly encapsulates the feeling of living the life of your dreams.
According to nabii herself, “in my room!” is “the ultimate pop song, a high-energy sugar rush written for my younger self.”
“It embodies that childlike wonder we sometimes forget as we get older. It’s about loving like it’s the very first time – wholeheartedly and almost naively, before life teaches you to hold back,” she says.
“It’s the feeling of blasting your favourite song, soaking up the sun or dancing in the rain — embracing every moment as it is. It’s about adding whimsy back into your life as an adult and finding beauty in the little things. I wrote this during a time where I felt a real shift in my perspective and identity, and this song captures that perfectly.”
Australia is currently spoiled for choice when it comes to exciting electronic music talent, but nabii has the confidence and talent to carve out her own spot in the genre’s fertile landscape.

Nabii has already performed at iconic Aussie venues such as The Howler and Max Watts, showcased her music at major festivals like Beyond the Valley and Pitch Music & Arts, and shared lineups with the likes of DJ Heartstring and CAIVA.
Last year saw nabii earn the distinction of becoming the inaugural winner of The Blueprint Project, a national initiative spotlighting the next generation of Australian electronic artists.
Nabii beat out over 100 other entries to win the competition, which was judged by a panel of music industry professions including Tom Cameron (Ableton), Jack Colquhoun (Mixmag), and Jess Phillips (Untitled Group).
