K-pop group Itzy are kicking off the Australian and New Zealand leg of their world tour this weekend – and they couldn’t be more excited.
The highly anticipated live dates mark their return Down Under after 2024’s arena debut, and will be the first tour to feature all five members – Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna. It will kick off in Melbourne this Friday (April 17th), before Sydney on April 19th and Auckland on April 22nd.
The ‘ITZY 3RD WORLD TOUR <TUNNEL VISION>’ takes its name from their mini album TUNNEL VISION, released in November 2025, telling a story about finding one’s true self.
Rolling Stone AU/NZ caught up with Itzy to chat about their evolving artistry and what fans can expect from their upcoming live shows.
Rolling Stone AU/NZ: This is your first run since the ‘<BORN TO BE> Tour’ in 2024 but also the first with all five members in Australia. What does that mean for the group?
Yeji: I have such great memories from our first tour in Australia during the ‘<BORN TO BE> Tour’. I was so happy and grateful that so many Midzy [fandom name] came to see us even though it was our first time there. I’m so excited to enjoy this experience together with Lia, and I think it will be such a meaningful time for all five of us to be together in Australia for the first time.
What were some highlights from the 2024 tour?
Love Music?
Get your daily dose of everything happening in Australian/New Zealand music and globally.
Yeji: I remember the venue in Australia had a very high ceiling, which made the atmosphere feel even more special. When we were singing the encore songs, I looked out at Midzy, and it was so beautiful like stars were pouring down.

Itzy is only seven years into its story. What are some of the biggest challenges and learnings you’ve had as a group during this time?
Lia: I think the process of understanding and accepting one another has been the biggest challenge, as well as the greatest learning experience for us as a group.
What are some goals Itzy want to achieve in the next five years?
Lia: We would like to continue showing Midzy new music and new sides of Itzy that we haven’t been able to share with them before.
Compared to your debut, what do you think has changed or improved the most?
Ryujin: I think I’ve gradually learned how to communicate better with Midzy and our audiences.
As Itzy are known as “performance queens”, are there any other titles or images you’d like to be associated with?
Ryujin: It’s not a specific title, but I hope we can be remembered with a positive image as artists who always bring joy and happiness to many people.
Following the world tour kick-off in Seoul, Australia marks the first stop. How do you feel about starting this journey?
Chaeryeong: I visited Australia for the first time during the ‘<BORN TO BE> Tour’, and it gave me so many happy and unforgettable memories. I’m so happy and excited to be going back, and it makes it even more special that Australia will be the first overseas stop of our ‘<TUNNEL VISION> World Tour’.
Having showcased a wide range of musical concepts throughout your career, which has been your favourite so far, and which concept would you like to explore next?
Chaeryeong: We’ve explored so many different musical concepts, and every challenge has been meaningful and enjoyable for me. If there’s a concept I’d like to try next, I’d love to take on something fresh and pure.
Since you perform multiple shows with the same setlist, do you have any personal ways to stay fresh and enjoy each performance?
Yuna: The energy and reactions of Midzy in each city are all different, so we try to take in the unique atmosphere of every show.
“THAT’S A NO NO” gained strong attention after being performed for the first time at the Seoul concert. What inspired you to include this six-year-old B-side in your tour setlist?
Yuna: It was a song that our fans really love and had been hoping to see, and the track itself has such great energy and an exciting vibe. We felt it would look amazing as a performance on stage during the concert, so we decided to add it to the setlist.
