Melbourne’s Josh Hannan unveils his new EP, DEAD HEART, with the dramatic and moody title track leading the charge. It “depicts how it feels to have your trust shaken,” he reveals.
KYE – “Gospel”
After taking her self-proclaimed “kye-atus”, KYE is back with her first track of 2025, “Gospel.” “The idea of gospel truths has been a constant in my upbringing,” she shares. “A set of rules and ideals carved out a way of life for me that never quite fit. Growing up this way has shown me firsthand how the truth can be gnarled and twisted into a weapon.
Riley Pearce – “Like A River”
Riley Pearce’s new track “Like A River” explores the anxiety and burnout of modern life, with pulsing bass and swelling pedal steel that successfully mirror the overwhelming feeling of panic.
Floodlights – “Buoyant”
Floodlights’ latest single, “Buoyant”, is the final taste of their upcoming album Underneath (out March 21). With a horn-filled sound, the track reflects on “aging, and how it can be tricky to reconcile with”. It also comes with the exciting news of their national Australian tour, happening in May 2025.
