‘Home’ is anchored by the opener, its blues-rock title track

Kingswood return Home on the Melbourne rockers’ fourth studio album, a set that strolls deep into blues-rock territory and invites us to come along. Home has its heart in Nashville, where its twelve tracks were mixed and mastered, and where Alex Laska and Fergus Linacre’s tales of longing, wishing and hoping are allowed to resonate.

Kingswood Home

Home is anchored by the opener, its blues-rock title track. What follows are caked in bitumen, (“Mercy Ref”), and drenched in whisky (“Burning Holes”), and warmth from top to toe. The four-piece is supporting the new set with a biggest-ever national tour in 2023.
