Flight Facilities Craft a Litany of Classics on The Long-Awaited ‘FOREVER’

The first album since 2014, Flight Facilities are back with FOREVER, proving that good things come to those who wait.

It’s hard to believe Flight Facilities’ FOREVER is the Sydney duo’s second studio album—and their first since 2014. Unreservedly cementing their return, FOREVER’s track list unveils a complexity you’d expect from a fourth or fifth offering. Suffice to say, you can tell they’ve been making music together for over a decade.

The 11-track collection showcases the pair’s ability to create an array of genre-defying classics, each bound to be festival anthems in their own right, yet with infinitely different sounds featuring vastly unique guest vocals. Noticeable influences range from heaving Nineties Detroit house beats in “Lights Up”, to laid back electro-pop melodies in “What I Want”, in contrast again to the emotive, monologue-esque “Altitude”.

With upbeat bangers guaranteed to get you on your feet and chilled out electro-pop songs to mellow you out, Flight Facilities’ FOREVER is the kind of rollercoaster ride you never want to end.

Flight Facilities’ FOREVER is out now via Future Classic.
