Win the Ultimate ‘No Time to Die’ Collector’s Package (closed)

James Bond is arguably at his best in No Time to Die, and to celebrate, we’re giving away an extremely limited edition collector’s package.

It’s one of the biggest film series in all of cinematic history, and with director Cary Joji Fukunaga (Beasts of No NationJane Eyre) recently releasing the 25th entry into the James Bond film series by way of No Time to Die, we’re giving away an extremely limited edition collector’s set in support of the film.

Officially released late last year, No Time to Die arrives almost 60 years on from the release of the first-ever James Bond film, Dr. No. Starring Daniel Craig in his last outing in the titular role, the film follows Bond  following his departure from active service as he enjoys a tranquil life in Jamaica.

His peace is short-lived when his old friend, Felix Leiter, from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Co-written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade (Spectre, Skyfall), and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Flea Bag, Killing Eve), and featuring new villain Safin (as portrayed by Academy Award winner Rami Malek), the film captures the classic James Bond energy and intensity, all while visiting iconic locations such as Norway, Italy, Jamaica, London, and Cuba.

Originally penned by author (and former British naval intelligence officer) Ian Fleming, 12 of the novels in the Bond series were written by Fleming ahead of his passing in 1964. Since then, many of the films have been direct adaptations of his work. However, with 25 films in the series, some of these are bound to have been inspired by some original work, and with No Time to Die featuring the dynamic writing team of Purvis and Wade alongside Waller-Bridge and Fukunaga, the result is arguably one of the finest entries into the series in years.

No Time to Die also retains much of the glamorous hedonism and blockbuster violence the franchise is known for,” writes Augustus Welby for Rolling Stone Australia. “These core facets are twinned in one of the film’s most entertaining sequences, which unites Bond with the young CIA agent, Paloma (Ana de Armas). The pair are together in a Cuban nightclub in order to capture a CIA target, but before they get down to business, they stop to enjoy a couple of vodka martinis.

“Although soon forced to swing, shoot and tumble themselves to safety, Bond and Paloma aren’t about to let a full bar of liquor go to waste. It’s a reminder that, while James Bond is growing up and the franchise expanding its horizons, the emphasis on cinematic staging and enthralling entertainment hasn’t gone anywhere.”

With the film already on track to be in consideration for numerous awards, we’re celebrating its release by giving away a limited edition model die cut Aston Martin collector’s set with a 4K copy of the movie.

Only 100 of these models (RRP $444.95) have been released in Australia, with each one coming with a certificate of authenticity and unique number. To tie in with the film, we’re giving away the one numbered 007.
