Savannah Guthrie and her heartbroken family are now offering a $1 million reward in hopes of receiving information about the whereabouts of their mother, Nancy Guthrie, who went missing from her Tucson, Arizona, home nearly a month ago.

Nancy, 84, was last seen on Jan. 31 and is believed to have been taken from her home against her will, as the FBI released photos of a masked assailant approaching the elderly woman’s front door in the middle of the night.

With tears stains on her shirt, Guthrie posted a new video Tuesday morning to increase the reward money from $100,000, saying their family was clinging to the smallest shred of hope that their mother would be returned to them safe. “We still believe in a miracle,” the Today Show host said. “We still believe that she can come home. Hope against hope. As my sister says, we are blowing on the embers of hope.”

Guthrie said that she understands Nancy “may already be gone,” but pleaded that anyone with any information contact law enforcement so they could grieve as a family. “She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in heaven with her mom, her dad, with her beloved brother Pierce, and with our daddy,” Guthrie said. “If this is what it is to be, then we will accept it, but we need to know where she is. We need her to come home.”

The Guthrie family also wanted to acknowledge that they are not alone in enduring such a tragedy, and “millions of families have suffered with this kind of uncertainty, with Guthrie announcing they’d be donating an additional $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

“So please, if you hear this message, if you’ve been waiting and you haven’t been sure, let this be your sign to please come forward,” Guthrie added. “Tell what you know and help us bring our beloved mom home so that we can either celebrate a glorious, miraculous homecoming or celebrate the beautiful, brave, courageous, and noble life that she has lived. Please be the light in the dark.”

It’s been 24 days since Nancy has gone missing, and while there have been multiple ransom letters reported — demanding a large sum of Bitcoin —  the Guthrie family has reportedly not been given proof of life. The FBI said they received more than 13,000 tips from the public related to the disappearance, which so far has yielded no solid leads.

The FBI has continued to ask anyone with information that could lead to Nancy’s whereabouts to contact 1-800-CALL-FBI or to submit tips through its online portal.
