The Golden Globes can’t get enough of Nikki Glaser. In 2027, the comedian will host the awards show for the third year in a row. Her previous two hosting nights full of jokes and jabs have earned praise, acclaim, and laughs from viewers watching from home and even the Hollywood figures in the room — earlier this year, she even got a chuckle out of Leonardo DiCaprio.

“I’m thrilled to host the Golden Globes for a third time,” Glaser said in a statement. “Not only because it’s the greatest gig I’ve ever had, but because my sister has three kids and now we will be equal in the eyes of my parents and the Lord.”

The Golden Globes have not held a consistent streak of hosts since the era of Ricky Gervais in the 2010s, just before Tina Fey and Amy Poehler took over for a brief stretch. In the early 2020s, the ceremony welcomed them back before going without a host one year, then tapping Jerrod Carmichael and Jo Koy for respective trial runs in 2023 and 2024.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nikki back to the Golden Globes stage in 2027,” Helen Hoehne, president of Golden Globes LLC, said in a statement. “Her comedic precision, authenticity, and ability to command the room is unmatched, and we can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve for next year’s show.”

In a review of the 2026 Golden Globes, Rolling Stone wrote, “She truly understands what the Golden Globes are all about: vanity, glitz, booze, celebrities desperate for camera time, cheap jokes about plastic surgery … The Globes were never meant to be a classy, respectable celebration of artistic achievement. They’ve always been the messiest, tipsiest, bitchiest of award galas, and Glaser waltzed in to make sure they stay that way.”

The 2027 Golden Globes are scheduled for Jan. 10 on CBS.
