Popular comedian Matt Rife has announced dates for the Australia and New Zealand leg of his ‘Stay Golden’ world tour, set for early 2026.

One of the biggest stand-ups in the world, Rife boasts nearly 50 million followers, more than 3 billion views globally, and chart-topping Netflix specials. He is currently selling out arenas worldwide on his biggest tour to date, including Madison Square Garden, where he became the youngest comedian to sell out two shows.

Produced by Live Nation as an extension of this highly successful tour, Rife’s Australia and New Zealand leg will kick off in Christchurch on January 16th, 2026, at Wolfbrook Arena, before he hits Auckland’s Spark Arena on January 17th. The show will enforce an 18+ age limit.

He will then make his way to Australia, with shows in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth, across the remainder of January and early February. He has already got two shows for both Melbourne and Sydney locked in, anticipating tickets will be in high demand.

The ‘Stay Golden’ tour follows Rife’s wildly successful ‘ProbleMATTic’ world tour, which included shows across North America, Europe, the UK, and Australia. He became the youngest stand-up comedian to sell out the Hollywood Bowl, and he joined Taylor Swift as the only other live act to break Ticketmaster’s website due to demand.

Following the success of his tour, Rife signed on for another with Live Nation, as well as a feature film Rolling Loud, an R-rated comedy co-starring Owen Wilson, co-produced by Live Nation Productions and American High.

It follows a father who makes a bad parenting choice by taking his young son to a wild hip-hop festival, Rolling Loud, leading to chaos as they navigate crowds, security, and family dynamics with eccentric companions. The film is expected to be released in 2026.
