A KPop Demon Hunters star is performing at the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Opening Ceremony.
Audrey Nuna will perform at Perth Stadium on March 1st, before the opening match kicks off between the Matildas and the Philippines.
Nuna is known to millions of fans around the world as the singing voice of Mira in the hit film.
Her appearance at the Opening Ceremony will give fans a “once-in-a-lifetime chance” to see her special solo performance created exclusively for this year’s AFC Women’s Asian Cup. Nuna will treat the crowd to a special non-broadcast performance to be seen exclusively inside Perth Stadium.
Nuna says she’s “thrilled” to be performing at the Opening Ceremony.
“Being a part of this celebration of female grit and excellence, alongside fans of music, culture, and football is a true honour, especially for my first time performing in Perth,” she shares. “It’s going to be a very special and singular start to the tournament, an experience I’m excited to share with the people of Perth and beyond.”
Sarah Walsh, the tournament’s COO says securing Nuna “is a major moment for this tournament.”
