Peach PRC has returned with new single “Distant Lands”, the first taste of Porcelain Kiln, an extension of her debut album, Porcelain.
“Distant Lands” is the first of four new singles Peach PRC will release this year, with the collection comprised of songs that didn’t ultimately find a home on Porcelain.
“Porcelain Kilm is a collection of songs left at the bottom of the kiln in the alchemy that was making Porcelain,” Peach PRC said. “Fragments and ornamental stories that were too precious to waste.”
The singer describes “Distant Lands” as an exploration of altered consciousness, and the realisation that she no longer needed to look beyond her everyday existence to find it.
“‘Distant Lands’ is an altered state of mind. We go there in dreams, in meditation, trance and medicine work,” she said. “I used to desperately seek altered states of consciousness hoping to find something greater than what I’ve already been given and already know. Now I’ve come to release that my raw consciousness here in earth is the most psychedelic experience I can have.”
Fans in Melbourne will also have the chance to hear the rest of Porcelain Kiln before its official release, with Peach PRC set to perform all four new singles at an intimate Vodafone Music event at Glasshaus on August 29th.

Double passes to the one-night-only show are being given away from 2pm today, with the event part of Vodafone Music, a new platform offering customers access to live events, ticket giveaways and other music experiences.
“I am excited to be partnering with Vodafone Music to give my fans the chance to hear my new unreleased music live for the very first time and the chance to share them with fans in such an intimate way,” Peach PRC said.
This new chapter follows the release of her debut album, Porcelain, which debuted at No. 4 on the ARIA Albums Chart and No. 1 on the Australian Albums Chart, and has generated more than 13 million global streams.
The arrival of “Distant Lands” also comes ahead of another major live appearance, with Peach PRC set to join The Veronicas as co-headliner of an open-air concert at Sydney’s Tumbalong Park on December 3rd.
“Distant Lands” by Peach PRC is out now via Island Records.
