Talib Kweli is returning to Australia this year.
The hip hop icon has announced a run of headline shows, presented by Teamwrk Touring and MRG Live, kicking off on November 5th in Melbourne before moving through Brisbane on November 6th, Perth on November 7th, and Sydney on November 8th.
Tickets will go on sale at 10am on Thursday, August 13th, following a presale from 10am on Wednesday, August 12th. All times are AEST. See here for details.
Widely regarded as one of hip hop’s most consistent voices, the Brooklyn rapper has long maintained a strong connection with Australian audiences. His last visit came in 2025, in a run of shows that included dates alongside The Roots and an appearance as part of Black Star, his long-running duo with Yasiin Bey.
Kweli’s catalogue has racked up more than 780 million streams to date, built across two decades, including collaborations with the likes of Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, and the late J Dilla.
Over 20 years into his career, he has shown no signs of slowing down, pouring his creative drive into a number of different creative projects, including his own independent label Javotti Media.
