Reggae icons The Original Wailers are coming back to Australia in 2027.

Led by legendary guitarist Al Anderson, the group will bring their ‘One Love’ tour across the country next March, performing in Perth, Adelaide, Wollongong, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast (see full dates below).

General on sale tickets will be available from 10am on Friday, June 12th following a presale from 10am on Tuesday, June 9th. All times are local. Sign up for presale here.

Anderson remains the sole surviving member of the classic mid-1970s lineup of Bob Marley & The Wailers, having joined the band during the recording sessions for 1974’s Natty Dread. Across his time with Marley, Anderson played on landmark releases including Live!, Babylon by Bus, Survival, and Uprising, helping shape the sound that introduced reggae to a global audience.

Beyond his work with Marley, Anderson also performed on Peter Tosh’s iconic albums Legalize It and Equal Rights, further cementing his status as one of reggae’s most influential guitarists.

According to the tour announcement, Marley personally encouraged Anderson to keep the music alive in the final days before his death. “Al, I’m going on my journey. Please honour the music that we made together and make sure the band stays together,” Marley reportedly told him.

More than four decades later, Anderson continues to carry that mission forward, with The Original Wailers performing beloved classics including “Is This Love”, “Could You Be Loved”, “Three Little Birds”, “One Love”, “Buffalo Soldier”, “No Woman, No Cry”, “I Shot the Sheriff”, and “Jamming”.
