Brisbane’s concert series Night at the Parkland is returning for a second year, expanding across three weekends this September with a line-up led by Aloe Blacc, Missy Higgins, PNAU, Icehouse, and the Temper Trap.

After debuting in 2025 as part of Brisbane Festival, the concert series will once again take over Roma Street Parkland, running from September 4th-20th with nine concerts scheduled across three weekends.

This year’s programme blends legacy Australian acts with international guests, with Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Aloe Blacc returning to Australia for the first time in seven years as part of his ‘Wake Me Up’ tour.

The opening weekend will see The Cruel Sea and Magic Dirt celebrate the 30th anniversary of Three Legged Dog, while Katie Noonan will bring her acclaimed Jeff Buckley’s Grace live show to Brisbane following a sold-out national run.

Other highlights include Human Nature performing their All the Hits show, a return appearance from Icehouse after last year’s sold-out performancxe, and Yesterday’s Gone: The Fleetwood Mac Legacy, featuring Fanny Lumsden, Charlie Collins, and Karen Lee Andrews.

PNAU will headline the final Saturday night with what organisers describe as a “dancing room only” performance featuring tracks from their upcoming album AHHCade, due for release in July, before the series closes with Missy Higgins, whose performance is expected to be one of the fastest-selling of the programme.

Co-founder Brendan Maher added: “This year’s line-up really has something for everyone, we are excited for people to be able to enjoy Night at the Parkland no matter what genre of music they are into.”

Brisbane Festival’s artistic director, Ebony Bott, described the expanded 2026 edition as “bigger, bolder and expanded across three incredible weekends”, adding that the series had “quickly established itself as a standout live music experience for Brisbane”.
