Bailey Zimmerman is coming back to Australia later this year.

The fast-rising country star has announced a pair of headline shows as part of his global ‘Different Night Same Rodeo Tour’, set for Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Wednesday, October 14th and Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Friday, October 16th. The Illinois-born singer will be joined by Texan rock-country outfit Dexter and the Moonrocks for both dates.

General on sale tickets will be available from 12pm on Friday, May 29th, following a Mastercard presale from 11am on Wednesday, May 27th, and a Live Nation presale from 11am on Thursday, May 28th. See here for details.

While on these shores, Zimmerman will also make appearances at this year’s Strummingbird festival in Ballarat, Newcastle, and the Sunshine Coast. The Australian tour leg follows Zimmerman’s extensive 30-plus date run across the US and Canada and arrives amid another major chapter in the country artist’s rapid rise.

Since first breaking through on social media in 2020, Zimmerman has become one of modern country’s biggest breakout success stories. His breakout single “Fall in Love” made him the fastest debut country artist in more than a decade to top Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, launching a streak of chart-dominating releases.

His 2023 debut Religiously. The Album. delivered one of the biggest streaming openings ever for a country record and featured hits including “Rock and a Hard Place”, “Where It Ends”, and “Fall in Love”. The album debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and cracked the Billboard 200 Top 10.

Zimmerman followed it up with his second album, Different Night Same Rodeo, released in 2025. The record included the Luke Combs collaboration “Backup Plan” alongside singles “Holy Smokes”, “Holding On”, and “New To Country”.

Across the past two years, Zimmerman has also collected nominations from the Billboard Music Awards, ACM Awards, CMT Music Awards, and People’s Choice Country Awards, while making appearances on Good Morning America, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
