Stan has dropped the first trailer for The Killings at Parrish Station, a new Australian paranormal thriller starring Mia Wasikowska as a detective haunted by a massacre that refuses to stay buried.
Set across two timelines, the series begins with the brutal 1987 massacre of four scientists at a remote research station in the Australian desert. Wasikowska stars as Detective Georgia Cooke, who, alongside partner Detective Michael Thorne (Xavier Samuel), becomes consumed by the disturbing case as the investigation spirals into the supernatural.
The official synopsis describes Georgia’s pursuit of the truth as a decades-long obsession that ultimately destroys her career, fractures her family, and leaves her questioning her grip on reality.
The story then jumps forward 37 years to 2024, with Georgia now played by Heather Mitchell. Pulled back into the unsolved Parrish Station murders by former protégé and homicide investigator Millie Farah, played by Doris Younane, Georgia is confronted with a chilling new series of murders mirroring the original killings in grotesque detail.
As the investigation deepens, the series asks whether the new crimes are the work of a copycat killer – or something far more sinister.
The ensemble cast also includes Robert Taylor, Alan Dale, Emma Lung, Kat Hoyos, Nic English, Alex Malone, Geoff Morrell, Rob Carlton, Alex Lee, Cameron James and newcomer Grace Owens.
