Harry Styles, who will curate this year’s Meltdown Festival in London, has assembled a lineup that spans genres, including Australia’s own Ninajirachi.
Although the lengthy event, which will run at the Southbank Centre from June 11 to June 21, does not feature hard-rock hitmakers Kiss at all (let alone all the time), it does feature disco occasionally. Styles will perform a headlining set at the Royal Festival Hall on June 16, Rolling Stone UK reports. Details on tickets for his show have not yet been announced, but tickets for everything else go on sale Thursday.
“Music is my life; every artist involved in this year’s Meltdown festival means so much to me, both as a fan and a musician,” Styles said in a statement. “It’s a true honor to host legends who have paved the way for the generations that follow them, as well as new acts that have inspired me to push my creative boundaries.”
Ninajirachi – who has been killing it on the festival circuit – is due to deliver a stellar set at Meltdown Festival. Sharing the news on social media, she joked: “The concept of Harry Styles streaming I Love My Computer.”
Meltdown Festival is just one of many on Ninajirachi’s schedule this year, as the electronic artist is also heading to the Coachella desert this weekend, before festivals closer to home including Queenstown’s Snow Machine, and Australia’s BASSINTHEGRASS and Groovin the Moo.
Ninajirachi has been killing it recently. Just days after taking out the SoundMerch Australian Music Prize in November last year, she won the triple j Album of the Year at the 2025 J Awards with I Love My Computer, as well as the rage and triple j Australian Music Video of the Year category. She also took home Best Solo Artist, Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Artist, and Best Independent Release (I Love My Computer) at the 2025 ARIA Awards.
LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy will perform a DJ set, and electronic artist Jon Hopkins will perform a live set with multi-instrumentalist Maddie Ashman and composer Leo Abrahams. The Devonté Hynes Ensembled is slated to perform new compositions, while singer and composer Beverly Glenn-Copeland will perform with his wife and artistic partner Elizabeth.

Indie rockers Bar Italia and Warpaint are both scheduled, as are jazz musicians Mulatu Astatke and Kamasi Washington, the latter of whom will perform two sets (a tribute to Miles Davis and John Coltrane and selections from his own 2024 album, Fearless Movement).
Other artists booked for the event include singer-songwriter Stephen Fretwell, jazz composer Shabaka Hutchings, and trip-hop artist Erika de Casier.
Styles’ edition of the Meltdown Festival marks the 31st instalment of the annual event. Previous programmers have included Robert Smith, David Byrne, Nick Cave, Scott Walker, and Patti Smith, among many others.
