Harry Styles has scored his fourth No. 1 Australian album in as many efforts with his latest record, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.
The UK superstar’s new LP has debuted at the top of both the ARIA Albums Chart and the Vinyl Chart. His 2017 debut, Harry Styles, spent one week at No. 1 following its release, while Fine Line held the position for three weeks in 2019-20, and Harry’s House couldn’t be toppled for 10 weeks in 2022-23.
Meanwhile, Linkin Park’s 2024-released album From Zero has climbed to the No. 4 spot amidst the US heavyweights’ current Australia tour.
Other debuts this week include Fugazi’s first album to chart in Australia, Albini Sessions (Benefits For Letters Charity) (No. 20), Australian rock and roots artist Bully Ray’s second record, Anywhere But Here (No. 31) and Byron Bay-based singer Sam Buckingham’s Beautiful Machine (No. 35).
Over on the Singles chart, Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” remains on top for a 17th straight week, now tying the record for the second longest No. 1 single ever next to The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s “Stay” and Alex Warren’s “Ordinary”.
The London-born singer’s global hit held off all tracks from Styles’ Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally which all landed in the top 50. His latest single, “American Girls” had the highest debut at No. 3, while “Aperture” has climbed to No. 10.
