Georgia Knight has announced an Aotearoa tour.
The Australian-born singer-songwriter will play shows, presented by Banished Music, with her live band in Christchurch, Auckland, and Wellington this April (see full dates below).
According to a press release, she’s prepared a “fuller, more immersive live show, intimate, cinematic, and impossible to look away from.”
Knight has impressed at several notable events in New Zealand, including a standout solo performance at The Others Way. More recently, she was part of the Port Noise 2026 lineup — read more about the beloved Lyttelton festival here.
Knight is touring in support of her latest album Beanpole, which she recorded with Andrew ‘Idge’ Hehir.
Beanpole earned praise from Sharon Van Etten, Arab Strap, and BBC Radio 6 Music.
KEXP described it as “an evocative set of dimly-lit, hypnotic, psych-tinted pop,” while KCRW highlighted the “shadowy, seductive trip-hop textures” of the album.

Knight recently reworked “Desire”, one of the standout tracks on Beanpole, featuring additional production from Christchurch-based producer, songwriter and musician Chris Wethey.
“What was unrequited is now acquitted. I might change a few other things. I am restless right now,” she said about her decision.

Knight has plenty more live dates to look forward to in the coming months.
Before her New Zealand tour kicks off, she’ll play at two major festivals in Australia next month, Golden Plains and WOMADelaide, followed by a show at Melbourne’s iconic Tote Hotel on Saturday, March 14th.
Following her New Zealand trek, she’ll head to Brighton, UK, for an appearance at The Great Escape Festival.
