Vera Blue has shared a third taste of her forthcoming third album with the new single “Go Lucky”.
After the intimacy of her haunting single “Parallel Lines”, Blue is stepping into brighter territory with the new single. A euphoric, dance charged anthem, “Go Lucky” surges with feel-good energy.
Written during the same session as “In the Corner”, “Go Lucky” marks one of the first collaborations with acclaimed producer and songwriter Jono Ma, who has worked with the likes of Flight Facilities and the Avalanches, and Chris Collins, known most famously for his work with Matt Corby.
The track also features award-winning engineer Eric J Dubowsky (Tame Impala, Dua Lipa), who brings its euphoric, dance-driven sound to life.
“From the beginning we knew it needed to feel like a nostalgic 90s dance-inspired, feel-good track that lifts you the moment it starts. The kind of beat that reminds you that freedom is a feeling you can create for yourself,” Blue said of the song.
“Go Lucky” explores the power of pushing past doubt, rejecting limitation, and embracing a rebellious kind of optimism that comes from taking your life into your own hands. At its core it’s about choosing courage, choosing love and rising about whatever tries to hold you back. Woven through that message of empowerment is a romantic thread – a celebration of a love that doesn’t weigh you down, but lifts you higher.
“It’s a reminder that luck doesn’t define you… you define you and when you’re surrounded by the right love, you can go even higher,” Blue continued.

“It’s me learning to trust the leap, dance through the chaos, and celebrate the feeling of being completely, unapologetically alive. It’s an anthem for anyone learning to trust their own momentum, embrace the people who elevate them, and move through the world with fearless joy.”
The single comes ahead of Blue’s performance at Twilight at Taronga Zoo tomorrow night (February 27th), as part of the Summer Concert Series, supported by Holly Hebe.
