After teasing the drop earlier in the week, Tame Impala have released a remix of their hit single “Dracula” featuring Blackpink’s Jennie.

On Wednesday (February 4th), Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker shared a brief clip on social media with a sound bite of the single, which is now available.

Fans had been speculating about a collaboration for days prior to the teaser. Clues included a subtle edit to the original “Dracula” music video description on YouTube, where a line previously reading “My friends are saying ‘shut up Kevin just get in the car’” was changed to replace Parker’s name with Jennie’s.

Odd Atelier, Jennie’s independent label, also shared a cryptic pre-save link on social media without additional context. Parker had also been photographed by a fan wearing official Jennie merchandise, adding to the rumours.

Released in September 2025 as part of Tame Impala’s fifth studio album, Deadbeat, “Dracula” quickly became one of the band’s standout tracks. The disco-tinged, electropop single not only marked Tame Impala’s debut on the Billboard Hot 100 but also secured a high spot in triple j’s Hottest 100 for 2025, coming in at number three.

Jennie, widely recognised as a member of global K-pop phenomenon Blackpink, has steadily carved out a name for herself as a solo artist. Her breakout came in 2018 with the dance-pop and hip-hop single “Solo,” which topped charts in South Korea and gained international attention, amassing over 500 million streams on Spotify.

Building on that momentum, last year, she launched her own label, Odd Atelier, in partnership with Columbia Records, kicking off a new chapter in her career. Her debut studio album, Ruby, arrived in March and features 15 tracks that mix pop and R&B. The album includes collaborations with Dominic Fike, Doechii, Dua Lipa, Childish Gambino, and FKJ, and is anchored by singles such as “Mantra,” “Love Hangover,” “ExtraL,” and “Seoul City.”
