The music video for Taylor Swift’s “Opalite” is dropping later this week.
The global star posted a countdown on her website to the music video, with a definitive answer that it is arriving exclusively on Apple Music and Spotify Premium at 12am (AEDT) on Saturday, February 7th.
Per Variety, those streaming services will have the video exclusively until 12am (AEDT) on Monday, February 9th, when the video will become available to watch on YouTube. Additionally, fans have been given access to a new “Opalite” blue pearlescent vinyl on her website – preorders are available now.
“Opalite” is the second single from The Life of a Showgirl, released last October, which debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The single itself peaked at No. 2 in both Australia and New Zealand.
In Australia, every track from the album flooded the ARIA Singles Chart’s top positions, a rare feat that underlined just how intensively fans and casual listeners alike streamed and purchased the project upon release. The LP also earned multi‑platinum certifications in Australia and New Zealand.
Taylor Swift was named Most Popular International Artist (one of the publicly-voted awards) at the 2025 ARIA Awards, winning against Sabrina Carpenter, Kendrick Lamar, Calvin Harris, and more. New Zealand comedian Melanie Bracewell, who was presenting the award, collected on Swift’s behalf, because of course Swift wasn’t present at the ceremony.

In other Swift news, she recently released her Disney+ docuseries, The End of an Era, a six-part series focused on her ‘Eras Tour’.
“Honestly can’t think of a better way to celebrate my (almost) birthday than to relive the Eras Tour with you!” Swift said of the docuseries, which arrives with its first two episodes on December 12th. “This time we’re going backstage.
“This show created a bonding experience for like 70,000 people all at once,” Swift says in the trailer. “There’s something very special about that.”
