Mitski is coming to Australia this year.
Announced today, the singer-songwriter will play four nights at Sydney Opera House as part of Vivid LIVE. The exclusive Australian shows are part of a mammoth stretch of global performances with residencies in select major cities, including Los Angeles and New York City.
Mitski will perform at the venue between May 29th-June 1st (see full details below).
Tickets to the four shows go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 13th at 10am local time. The Artist pre-sale begins on Wednesday, February 11th at 10am local time. The Insiders pre-sale begins on Wednesday, February 11th at 11am local time. The What’s On pre-sale begins on Wednesday, February 11th at 2pm local time. The Spotify pre-sale begins on Thursday, February 12th at 10am local time.
Mitski is touring in support of her forthcoming album Nothing’s About to Happen to Me, which features latest single “I’ll Change for You” (listen below).
Nothing’s About to Happen to Me will be released on February 27th via Dead Oceans.

According to a press release, Mitski’s new album finds her “immersing herself in a rich narrative whose main character is a reclusive woman in an unkempt house. Outside of her home, she is a deviant; inside of her home, she is free.”
