Following the news of his largest-ever Australian tour, UK favourite Sammy Virji has announced a special one-off performance where he will premiere his debut live show.
Set for the Sydney Opera House on Monday, March 9th, the show marks a significant milestone in the breakthrough artist’s rapidly ascending career. It will see him unveil a bespoke live format unlike anything he has presented before.
Designed specifically for the iconic venue, it will see him expand his sound beyond the DJ booth and into a fully realised live environment, placing UK garage on of the most prestigious stages globally.

Over the past eight years, Virji has emerged as a defining force in the modern UK garage renaissance, carving out a distinct sonic identity that bridges underground credibility with widespread appeal. His productions are instantly recognisable – driven by crisp percussion, infectious swing and a signature clarity that has helped propel UKG back into the global spotlight.
He has made a name for himself with performances at Coachella and collaborations with Skepta, Chris Lake, Flowdan, Giggs, and more. Then in September, he released his highly anticipated debut album Same Day Cleaning, further cementing his status as a forward-thinking electronic artists.

The record showcased his ability to evolve the UKG sound while maintaining its dance floor foundations, earning widespread acclaim from fans and critics alike.
He’ll be bringing the album Down Under through February and March, with confirmed shows at Melbourne’s PICA, Perth’s Ozone Reserve, Brisbane’s Riverstage, and Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion (sold out). Tickets are still available for the remaining shows – see here for details.
He was last in Australia in 2024, having played Australian venues for a tour in May, and again during New Year’s festival season, where he performed at Beyond The Valley, Lost Paradise, and Wildlands.
