Mumford & Sons are returning to Australia and New Zealand.
Announced today, the English folk-rock band will make their return to these shores next April and May, stopping in Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland (see full dates below).
Tickets to the tour go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 5th at 11am local time. The partner and artist pre-sales begin on Wednesday, December 3rd at 10am local time, while the Live Nation and Secret Sounds pre-sales commence on Thursday, December 4th at 10am local time.
Mumford & Sons’ upcoming tour will take them to arenas around Australia and New Zealand, following a sold-out, one-night-only show at the Sydney Opera House back in March.
They’re touring in support of their forthcoming sixth studio album, Prizefighter, out February 13th of next year. The record was co-produced with The National’s Aaron Dessner and features guest appearances from Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton, and more.
Mumford & Sons will be joined by rising Australian folk outfit Folk Bitch Trio, who are coming off their biggest career year to date. The Melbourne-born indie folk group found time during their busy touring schedule for an intimate Rolling Stone AU/NZ In My Room session earlier this year — watch it in full here.
