Earth Tongue have a new album on the way.

Titled Dungeon Vision, the fuzz-rock duo’s third album will arrive on February 13th, 2026, via In the Red Records.

Guitarist Gussie Larkin and drummer Ezra Simons spent the Berlin winter of 2025 refining the album’s twelve tracks in their self-described “windowless cave” rehearsal space. They then flew to Los Angeles to finalise the record, where they worked alongside garage king ty Ty Segall to record and mix Dungeon Vision in just ten days at Altamira Sound.

“Ty’s been a big driving force,” says Simons. “We supported him in New Zealand back in 2023, and he’s backed us ever since even bringing us on tour through Europe and the UK in 2024.”

Coinciding with Earth Tongue’s album announcement is new single and title track “Dungeon Vision”, the first song written for the album.

The accompanying music video is a handcrafted visual feast created by Berlin-based animator, illustrator and close friend Neirin Best.

Best and a small team spent months building a miniature dungeon set, carving trees, hand-painting walls, and adding intricate details like tiny skulls and candles, complete with LED flames. Simons and Larkin then added a larger-than-life stone wall backdrop, hand-painted by Geo Gregory and Archie Fitzgerald to mimic the miniature setting.

The clip, which you can watch above, was shot on 16mm film by Simons to create an authentic ’80s horror aesthetic.

Dungeon Vision will follow the Berlin-based duo’s previous album Great Haunting, which was included in our 80 Best New Zealand Albums of the 2020s So Far list.

“The fuzz-rock duo create an unrelenting racket from start to finish on their second album, a record that perfectly announced their arrival on the LA-based label In the Red Records,” we wrote.”

“It’s blistering rock ‘n’ roll that has unsurprisingly won Earth Tongue key support slots for Ty Segall and Queens of the Stone Age, legions of fans around Europe, and a cult following back home.”
