Ed Sheeran has shared a remix of his track “Camera”, produced by Australia’s own CYRIL.
CYRIL, best known for his ARIA-nominated song “Stumblin’ In” and hugely popular remix of Disturbed’s “The Sound of Silence”, ranked at No. 29 on Rolling Stone AU/NZ‘s 50 Greatest Australian Electronic Acts of All Time list.
While streaming figures don’t define an artist, we said it was impossible to not be impressed by his seismic numbers in 2024. In fact, “The Sound of Silence” was the Number One track on Spotify by an Australian artist worldwide last year.

“Camera”, originally co-produced by ILYA, Andrew Watt, and Louis Bell, reinforces Sheeran’s mastery of balladry and lyrical depth.
The official music video for the original, directed by Emil Nava starring Sheeran alongside Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor, portrays the early stages of a romantic relationship.
Shot entirely on iPhone from the characters’ perspectives, the video depicts the raw spontaneity and thrill of new love as they explore Croatia’s picturesque Old Town, cruise on a moped, bar-hop into the night, and even share the stage at one of Sheeran’s stadium shows.
“Camera” comes off his latest album Play, which flew to No. 1 on the ARIA Charts upon its release in September. He later released Play – The Remixes EP featuring remixes with Kara Aujla and Jonita Gandhi among others.
He is gearing up for the release of a Netflix special later this month, One Shot With Ed Sheeran, directed by Adolescence‘s Philip Barantini. The short film shows the singer walking through New York City in real time, playing his songs on subway cars and various spots around the city, and leaving a trail of stunned fans in his wake.
He is also prepping for his return to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 to kick off his global ‘The Loop Tour’, where he’ll be joined by Vance Joy, Mia Wray, BIIRD, and Aaron Rowe at select shows through January-March. With a whopping 3.1 million tickets sold Down Under in his career to date, the tour is set to continue his dominance in the region.
Ed Sheeran and CYRIL’s “Camera” is out now.
