Lewis Capaldi can’t quite seem to move on; he laments on his latest single, “Almost.” The singer-songwriter previewed the record during his recent appearance on the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. While heartbreak might anchor him in place emotionally, Capaldi isn’t planning to stay put for long. The single arrives alongside the announcement of his upcoming EP Survive and his headlining North American tour kicking off in 2026.

“Almost” will appear on Survive, out Nov. 14, alongside the previously released singles “Something in the Heavens” and “Survive.” The EP will also include the unreleased song “The Day That I Die,” which, from its title seems connected to “Survive,” where Capaldi sings, “I still got something to give/Though it hurts sometimes/I’m gonna get up and live/Until the day that I die/I swear to God, I’ll survive.”

Capaldi will take this new batch of songs on the road beginning in April. The tour route includes some of the biggest shows of his career, including headlining nights at Madison Square Garden in New York and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. He will also make stops in Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, Berkeley, and Vancouver. Joy Crookes will join as support on each North American date.

Capaldi last toured extensively in the U.S. and Canada in 2023, when he set out on a tour in support of his second album, Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent. That summer, the artist shared that he would be “taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future” to address physical and mental health concerns.

Capaldi will arrive in Australia this December for a string of headline shows.
