Fresh off their set at Rolling Stone House at SXSW Sydney, DZ Deathrays have released another single off their upcoming sixth album Easing Out of Control. “Skyline” shifts gears into shimmering indie-rock territory, offering a more reflective dimension to the band’s sound. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds – “Wild God (Live God)”
The band have released “Wild God (Live God)”, the first single off their upcoming new live album Live God, the stunning testament to the Wild God tour earlier this year. Across 15 live tracks, the album will capture the wildly transcendent nature of those unforgettable shows, which were, in Nick Cave’s own words, “an antidote to despair”.
Ella Ion – “Looking For Nothing”
After a year spent traversing the world “Looking For Nothing” acts as an exercise in letting go, a forced moment of pause. Working once again with producer Stefan Blair, one half of acclaimed duo Good Morning, Ella Ion’s folk leanings are unleashed amidst a lush production. It showcases her eloquent lyricism, masterful musical control and her unmatched ability to deliver a cacophony of raw emotion, anchored by grit and heart.

Chet Faker – “This Time For Real”
“This Time For Real” gives fans a taste of what’s to come from Chet Faker, as the first single off his upcoming album A LOVE FOR STRANGERS. The track is a potent, irresistible reminder of his inimitable way with an earworm hook. It finds Faker at his effortlessly anthemic best, not to mention his most cheekily self-referential, as he addresses the balanced weight of expectation that comes with success as an artist.
Angus Gill – Postcards
Angus Gill’s highly anticipated sixth studio album is a bold and joyful reimagining of classic Australian pop and rock songs through a Nashville bluegrass lens. Recorded in Nashville with Grammy winning musicians and featuring special guests from across genres, Postcards celebrates Australia’s rich musical legacy while introducing it to new audiences.
Lotte Gallagher – Blasé Vengeance
The fiery sophomore EP from Lotte Gallagher, Blasé Vengeance, is a proud stride forward for the 19-year-old. The stories featured on this EP are close to her heart and memory — a messy, cathartic clash of emotions that have ultimately led her to form a new layer of resilience and insight.
Screensaver – “Soft Touch”
Melbourne five-piece screensaver’s new single “Soft Touch” is the second track lifted off their forthcoming album, Three Lens Approach, out next month. Emerging from a mammoth moog swell, Krystal Maynard’s hypnotic vocal performance lays atop driving bass, nostalgic synth lines, serpentine guitar and a moreish disco beat. It follows themes laid out on their lead single, “Context Is Everything” released earlier this month.
Hellcat Speedracer / Alex Hosking – “Like a Tattoo”
Sydney electronica dance duo Hellcat Speedracer have teamed up with vocalist Alex Hosking for their new single “Like a Tattoo”. The song delivers everything fans love about them: infectious energy, emotive hooks, and a signature production style that blends club-ready beats with heart-on-sleeve lyrics.
Sunsick Daisy – “Pale Blue”
“Pale Blue” sees the band step into a bold, colourful era where woozy, guitar-driven dream pop collides with ’90s psychedelia. It’s an experience of young love in the digital age — dizzying and addictive, while on the surface seeming so effortless.
Divers – “The Great Tree”
Divers have stepped into more groove-driven, experimental territory with warbly production and ethereal, psychedelic vocals with new single “The Great Tree”. It embodies the lush, dreamy soundscape of old favourites like Foster The People and Passion Pit.
Party Dozen – “Mad Rooter”
Taken from their upcoming AA-side 7″ Mad Rooter/Ghost Rider, out December 5th, the new single from the Sydney punks has an off-grid pull and push that gives it swagger. It is their first release with German label City Slang.
RISSA – Where Love Once Was
Where Love Once Was is a journey through all the feelings of a relationship, from start to finish. As RISSA narrates these aches of modern love, she exudes equal parts charm and vulnerability, backed up by skin-tingling harmonies and cosy soundscapes.
Sly Withers – “Make My Mind Up”
“Make My Mind Up” is a stirring reflection on indecision, growth, and the push to keep moving forward when life feels stuck. The track marks a new chapter for Sly Withers, showcasing their evolution as writers and collaborators while continuing the emotionally charged storytelling that has made them one of Australia’s most compelling guitar bands.
Ziggy Alberts – “Cyclone”
Following the release of his seventh studio album New Love earlier this year, Ziggy Alberts is back with “Cyclone”, an energetic, sun-soaked single destined to soundtrack the summer. It blends his signature lyrical vulnerability with a more atmospheric folk-pop sound, acting as both an earworm and an evolution in his sound, marking continued growth from acoustic storyteller to genre-blending craftsman.
