Burgeoning UK star Olivia Dean will perform at this year’s ARIA Awards.

ARIA confirmed the news today (September 30th), with Dean set to take the stage at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday, November 19th. The London-born songwriter will be in town for a special one-off show the next night, ahead of a wider arena tour in 2026.

“I love Australia and I’m so excited to perform at the 2025 ARIA Awards,” Dean said.

“This will be my first time at the awards ceremony, it’s going to be lots of fun!”

The news comes just days after Dean released her second studio album, The Art of Loving, which is expected to land at the pointy end of the ARIA Albums chart on Friday. The record’s third single “Man I Need” is currently sitting at #2 on the Singles chart and is expected to go Platinum within the next two weeks.

What more is there to say about love? It has been painstakingly dissected and enshrined for centuries in the written word, films, and songs that both shatter and mend hearts,” Rolling Stone‘s review of the album reads.

“At 26, Dean doesn’t purport to have mastered the art of loving. In fact, she’d be the first to admit that most of her findings have been inconclusive, or flat-out wrong. But she is having a damn good time trying.”

Meanwhile, announced last week, Ninajirachi, Dom Dolla, and RÜFÜS DU SOL lead the 2025 ARIA Awards nominations.

With a record eight nominations, electronic artist Ninajirachi leads the pack. Her debut album I Love My Computer has positioned her at the forefront of a new wave of Australian talent redefining pop and club music. We named her in our Future of Music 2025 list earlier this year.
