Teenage Joans – “My Heart’s Dead!”

Teenage Joans asked, “What if Kesha made a song with Blink-182?” and answered with their new pop-punk single, “My Heart’s Dead!”. Inspired by Kesha and bands like Paramore, the Sydney duo made a catchy, high-energy track with fun vocal hooks made for singing along live.

Matthew Ifield – My Favourite Place To Be

Sydney singer-songwriter Matthew Ifield has dropped his debut album, My Favourite Place To Be, after sold-out shows in Manila and Seoul. His headline tour will soon hit North America and Australia, featuring singles like “Start From Scratch” and the new track “She Doesn’t Care”, which explores feelings of loss and self-doubt.

Bliss n Eso – “My Gang”

Bliss n Eso have released “My Gang”, an upbeat track from their upcoming ninth album The Moon (The Dark Side), due October 3rd. Inspired by groups like OutKast, the song captures nostalgic memories of early hip hop and dancing, continuing the dynamic sound teased by previous singles “Chemical Heart (GEED UP)” and “Be OK”.

The Stamps – in all the ways i am

Indie-pop/folk trio the stamps have released their debut album in all the ways i am, exploring themes of growing up, leaving home, and longing for the past. The album includes tender tracks like “Slow Burn” and “Free My Mind”, which tackles writer’s block and creative struggle.

After recent national tours, the stamps kick off their album tour with a sold-out Sydney show on August 21st, then head to Brisbane, Perth, and wrap in Melbourne on September 5th. They’ll also perform two official showcases at BIGSOUND for the first time.

Xavier Rudd – “Shake It”

Australian singer-songwriter Xavier Rudd has announced the release of a new EP, Where to Now, set to arrive on September 10th via Salt.X Records / Virgin Music Group.

The EP developed naturally over a period of writing and recording, growing from a few individual songs into a full project. It follows the recent singles “Where to Now”, and “Morning Birds“, and includes Rudd’s new track “Shake It”.

Lachie Gill – “Give Me a Little”

Australian singer-songwriter Lachie Gill returns after a year and a half with his new single “Give Me a Little”, releasing via Island Records Australia. To support the track, he will embark on a regional tour starting September 18th in Bendigo.
