Olivia Dean is returning to Australia.
The British singer-songwriter, who toured here earlier this year, has announced a headline show in Sydney this November.
Presented by Handsome Tours, Laneway Presents, Fuzzy, and the Botanic Gardens of Sydney, the one-night-only outdoor concert, An Evening At The Fleet Steps, will take place Thursday, November 20th, set against the harbour at Mrs Macquaries Point.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale Tuesday, July 22nd at 10am local time, with general tickets available from Wednesday, July 23rd at 11am.
Dean will be touring in support of her second album The Art of Loving, due out in September. The record explores love and relationships. “I think there’s a whole spectrum of how you can have relationships with people in your life and still make them really meaningful and honest,” she says. “But that’s a new thing for me, to be honest.”
Fans have already heard new tracks “Nice to Each Other” and “Lady Lady” from the upcoming album.

Dean’s long-awaited debut album, Messy, released in 2023, was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize Album of the Year and reached #4 on the UK Official Album Chart. It also earned her the role of soundtrack artist for the next Bridget Jones film Mad About The Boy.
She made her Australia and New Zealand touring debut in February as a Laneway Festival headliner, with additional headline shows in Auckland, Sydney, and Melbourne.
Our glowing four-star review of Dean’s Sydney show highlighted her star power, noting that next time “she’ll need a bigger venue.”
“It’s clear Olivia Dean is already a star — Australia just needs to catch up,” we wrote.
