Banks is coming back — and this time, she’s bringing the noise.

The genre-defying Californian singer-songwriter has announced her return to Australian shores this November for a string of exclusive East Coast dates. Banks will hit Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane for three powerful, full-band performances that promise to be anything but ordinary.

The tour comes hot off the back of her fifth studio album, Off With Her Head, which dropped in February and has been described by Banks as “the big sister” to her beloved debut Goddess, which turned ten last year.

The new album sees her reunite with the original team behind Goddess after a decade apart. “Yet, it also represents something entirely new,” she told Rolling Stone last year, “reflecting my growth as both an artist and a person.”

The 12-track release includes collaborations with Sampha and Doechii, and covers everything from emotional reckoning to hard-earned liberation. Its standout single “Best Friends” explores “the growing pains of a fading friendship,” a theme Banks tackles with her signature vulnerability and cutting lyrical edge.

Before heading Down Under, she’ll take the album across a 14-date North American run, followed by seven shows across Europe and the UK in October.

Aussie fans may recall Banks’ stripped-back, sold-out acoustic sets in Melbourne last November, celebrating Goddess’ ten-year anniversary.

That reimagined performance offered a rare, intimate look at the artist’s raw vocal talent. But this tour flips the switch entirely, bringing her full band, bold visuals, and an emotionally charged new record to the stage.

Off With Her Head follows 2022’s Serpentina—her first independently released album.

At the time, she told Rolling Stone: “I found this new confidence in my own creativity, in my gut intuition, and in my own opinions.”

That self-assurance radiates through her latest material, blending high-gloss production with her ever-present emotional depth.
