Gracie Abrams has officially outgrown her cult-favourite status. As she plays to arenas of fans across Australia during her The Secret of Us tour, the singer-songwriter has claimed the top spot of the ARIA Albums Chart. Her tour continues in Melbourne on May 10 and 11, Adelaide on May 13, and Perth on May 16–17.

Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet sits at #2, while Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft rounds out the top three on the ARIA Top 50 Albums Chart for the week of May 12th.

Australian artist Dope Lemon also made a strong debut this week, landing at #8 with Golden Wolf, the fifth album from Angus Stone under the Dope Lemon name.

Legendary UK rock band Pink Floyd have also made their debut at #27 with Pink Floyd At Pompeii – MCMLXXII. The live album was recently released on CD and digital audio, as well as vinyl and Dolby Atmos for the very first time.

Over on the ARIA Singles Chart, Alex Warren continues his grip on the top spot. “Ordinary” remains at #1 for a seventh consecutive week, making it the longest-running #1 by a solo male artist since Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” ruled for eight weeks in 2023.

Gracie Abrams has also claimed a spot on the Singles Chart with “That’s So True” coming in second, while breakout star Chappell Roan holds at #3 with her viral track “Pink Pony Club”.

Jessie Murph debuts at #31 with “Blue Strips.” The 20-year-old genre-blurring vocalist recently made her Coachella debut and is slated to tour Australia later this year. Meanwhile, UK singer-songwriter Myles Smith sees a major boost with “Stargazing,” jumping from #49 to #29.
