US actor and comedian Jeremy Piven has announced he will be heading to Australia and New Zealand this year for a string of stand-up dates.
The Golden Globe and Emmy Award winning star will kick off the tour this July in Auckland, followed by stops in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide.
Piven – perhaps best known as playing Hollywood agent Ari Gold in HBO’s Entourage – last visited Australia for exclusive shows in 2024.
Piven scored two Golden Globes and three Emmys for his performance as Gold in the comedy-drama series that ran from 2004-2011, and reprised the role in the 2015-released film.
Though there has been ongoing speculation about the show making a comeback, which many of the cast members have previously stated interest in, creator Doug Ellin is currently pitching a new show to networks and streamers, Ramble On, which stars Charlie Sheen as well as Entourage favourites, Kevin Dillon and Kevin Connolly.
As well as appearing in notable films such as Black Hawk Down, Serendipity, Old School and Rock N Rolla, Piven’s turn in 2023’s The Performance earned Oscars buzz.
Tickets for all of the upcoming Australian and New Zealand dates go on sale from 11am AEDT on Friday March 14th. Click here for more details and check out all of the stops below.
