Hevenshe – “Wish I Had a Friend”
Hevenshe (aka Jenna McDougall) drops a warm, comforting track that feels like a hug. In her words: “I pray this song makes your heart exhale and reminds you that you’re loved and treasured, even when you forget to nurture your relationships or ask for help.”
Teether & Kuya Neil – “ZOO”
Teether & Kuya Neil explore alienation and displacement on the heavy “ZOO”, a pounding track that’s their first new release since STRESSOR (2023). It’s the lead single from their debut album YEARN IV, out May 2.
Bella Amor – “rocks in my pocket”
Bella Amor’s got a thing for crystals, so naturally, she wrote a song about it. Produced by Alice Ivy and co-written with Yorke, the track’s got some feisty energy. Consider this your warning: don’t mess with her aura.
merci, mercy – “Cigarettes In The Dark”
An upbeat track from the Sydney artist with deeper themes of self-compassion and embracing alone time. “For me, the thing that brings me back to myself is having a cigarette alone in the dark… while looking hot,” explains merci, mercy.
Slowly Slowly – Forgiving Spree
Slowly Slowly delivers a powerhouse rock album, packed with stage-ready tracks. Highlights like “Gimme The Wrench”, “How Are You Mine?” and the ’80s pop-tinged “That’s That” shine on this nine-track gem.
SOMA – “Say It”
Sydney artist SOMA takes us to the cosmos with the sultry “Say It”, giving us a sneak peek into her debut mixtape COBRA, dropping next month.
YAGKI – “Adults”
Lebanese/Australian independent artist YAGKI returns with her first new music of 2025, the confessional and personal single “Adults”.
