Frances Bean Cobain and Riley Hawk have announced the arrival of their baby boy, Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk. He was born on Sept. 17.
Cobain shared three black-and-white photos via Instagram on Saturday: the first snapshot features a swaddled Ronin. In the second photograph, Ronin is seen grasping his mother’s index finger; and in the third, Hawk lovingly looks at Ronin as he cradles his son in his arms.
“Welcome to the world most beautiful son,” Cobain captioned the post. “We love you more than anything.” Hawk also shared the same photos via his Instagram account along with the welcoming words and tagging his wife in the caption.

In her Instagram story, Cobain also shared one of the photos soundtracked by John Lennon’s “Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy),” a song he wrote for his and Yoko Ono’s son Sean that appeared on the couple’s 1980 album, Double Fantasy.
This is Cobain and Hawk’s first child. The couple did not publicly announce they were expecting.
Cobain, the daughter of late Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain and Hole frontwoman and actress Courtney Love, married Hawk, the son of pro-skater Tony Hawk, on Oct. 7, 2023.
Their nuptials were officiated by R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe, who is Cobain’s godfather.
