Thelma Plum will be touring Australia this October to promote her upcoming second album, I’m Sorry, Now Say It Back.

The acclaimed Gamilaraay artist’s tour kicks off in New South Wales with shows in Newcastle, Thirroul, and Sydney, then heads west to Adelaide and Fremantle. Plum will also perform in Melbourne, Gold Coast, and Toowoomba before wrapping up in Brisbane (see full dates below).

Talking about the tour, Plum says, “It seems like forever since I did a national headline tour, but with a brand new album to choose songs from, the band and I are putting together a whole new show to play in these beautiful rooms. Can’t wait to show you all!”

Melbourne band The Slingers will support her on most dates, except in Adelaide, where Miss Kaninna will join, and Fremantle, where both Miss Kaninna and Banjo Lucia will be onstage.

Fans can sign up for pre-sale access before tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 30th, at 9am local time. For more ticket information, visit here.

Plum’s new album follows her successful 2019 debut, Better in Blak, which earned seven ARIA nominations and featured three platinum singles, including the title track, “Better in Blak.”

I’m Sorry, Now Say It Back was written and recorded in Brisbane, Byron Bay, London, Sydney, and Melbourne. Plum describes the album as deeply personal, saying, “This record was made with love, heartache, forgiveness, and care. It’s like sharing pages from my diary, but now it’s time to let these songs fly free.”

The album explores themes of nostalgia, beauty, desolation, and coming of age, continuing Plum’s tradition of intimate storytelling.

I’m Sorry, Now Say It Back will be released on Friday, October 18th, via Warner Music Australia. You can pre-order or pre-save I’m Sorry, Now Say It Back here.
