Marlon Williams has rescheduled his Australian tour dates for “An Evening With Marlon Williams.”
Originally postponed twice due to COVID lockdowns in 2020 and 2021, the New Zealand singer-songwriter’s intimate run of theatre shows will now take place in June.
Williams successfully toured the show in his home country New Zealand last year to much acclaim.
Beginning on Friday June 7th at Sydney’s City Recital Hall, he’ll then visit Brisbane, Hobart, Melbourne, Anglesea, Perth, and Adelaide (see full dates below).
General tickets go on sale on Wednesday, March 27th at 10am local time. Perth tickets are on sale at 1pm WA time on Thursday, March 28th. For all tickets and info visit, marlonwilliams.co.nz.
A full solo performance is promised, featuring a mix of early material, beloved album songs, and some new works. This will be Williams’ first solo tour in nearly 10 years.
Williams’ last Australian visit was in support of his third solo album, My Boy, where he played three sold-out shows and appeared at Splendour in the Grass and Riverboats Festival, accompanied throughout by his backing band The Yarra Benders.
My Boy is the highly-anticipated follow-up to 2018’s acclaimed Make Way for Love, which reached number eight on the ARIA Albums Chart and topped the charts in New Zealand.
