SITG Portraits: Photography by Michelle Grace Hunder at Splendour in the Grass 2022

Rolling Stone Australia & New Zealand sent lauded music photographer Michelle Grace Hunder backstage at Splendour in the Grass to capture acts from the performance lineup in a brand new light. Using her now trademark long exposure technique, a blacked out tent backstage, and an array of light painting tools, Hunder has delivered a gallery of unique Light Paintings, created in collaboration with some of the globe’s biggest acts.

Hunder’s portrait photography of acts like Oliver Tree, Tai Verdes, G Flip, Chillinit, Ruel, Budjerah, and more offers parts of the annual festival that no one got to see.
