Following an event which finally managed to go ahead in April of this year following numerous setbacks, the annual Yours & Owls festival is set to return in 2022, announcing its monumental lineup today.
Led by Adelaide hip-hop icons the Hilltop Hoods, the predominantly local lineup features some major names, including the likes of BENEE, who is set to return after border restrictions saw her appearance at this year’s festival canned at the last minute. Bliss n Eso, Flight Facilities, The Jungle Giants, Peking Duk, and Violent Soho also round out the top lines of the festival.
Meanwhile, the 2022 edition of Yours & Owls will play host to the the long-awaited return of Sydney rockers Faker, who – more than a year after announcing their return – will make their live comeback in April. Faker are also joined by the likes of Jack River, Luca Brasi, San Cisco, and Ruby Fields, while beloved acts such as Hope D, King Stingray, Private Function, The Buoys, and grunge icons The Meanies also join a stacked lineup.
While the 2022 edition of Yours & Owls will see the festival hosting more people to its larger site, the event will also be held in constant contact with proper authorities to ensure it all goes off in a COVID-safe manner.
While tickets to the event go on sale from 9am on Thursday, November 18th, a pre-sale kicks off 24 hours earlier, with a massive prize up for grabs for one lucky fan.
Sign-ups for the pre-sale are available now, with a special points system allowing the top scorer to take home a Fender guitar signed by Yours & Owls festival artists, along with four VIP tickets, and $200 worth of festival credit. Meanwhile, the second and third prizes (going to the next top ten scorers, and the ten after that) will take home a Double Weekender Pass, and a Single Weekender Pass, respectively.
