As he continues his climb up the ladder of rock stardom, US musician Dayglow has shared a trio of live tracks for the latest instalment of Rolling Stone’s ‘In My Room’, a series in which artists perform from home following a year which has seen live shows become a rarity.
The musical moniker of Sloan Struble, Dayglow has been popping up seemingly everywhere over the last year, with January bringing with it a massive performance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. However, with a new album out in the world for close to two months now, Dayglow has graced us with his slick compositions once again, this time in a solo live setting.
Armed with little more than a guitar and a microphone stand, Dayglow kicks off his ‘In My Room’ set with a rendition of “Medicine”, the second track from his new album. Kicking the rhythm section into gear, he quickly takes over, showcasing his groovy, confident performance style as his smooth vocals flow out, cementing his place as a powerful artist and performer.
As he continues, he takes things back to his 2019 debut album Fuzzybrain for a rendition of “Can I Call You Tonight?”, showing off the same soulful charisma that made him a favourite of fans the world over. Closing things off with a performance of “Close to You”, Dayglow proves that he’s one of the most exciting names in the world of music today, showing an inimitable sense of composition that is unmatched elsewhere.
