Adelaide’s colourblind have shared a trio of acoustic compositions for the latest instalment of Rolling Stone’s ‘In My Room’, a series in which artists perform from home following a year which has seen live shows become a rarity.
The last few years have undoubtedly been big ones for colourblind, who after releasing their debut EP, Move Like You, back in 2018 began to look ahead to the future with plans for more music and more shows as time allowed. While “Seatbelt” followed in May of 2020, the group kicked off this year by releasing the magnificent “Changing Seasons” in late January.
With more music set to arrive in the future, colourblind invited us into their room (in fact, the very same room that the band was formed in four years ago) to showcase a trio of acoustic tracks. Kicking things off with “Changing Seasons”, bassist Bernadette Wright and guitarist Jayden Crossing are joined by Finn Cameron on guitar and vocals, whose hair is still growing back after shaving it for the “Changing Seasons” clip.
As the set continues, the group run through 2018’s “Backbone” before wrapping things up with a riveting performance of “Seatbelt”, showing exactly why they’re not just a band to watch, but why they’re a band who deserve your attention with every move they make.
