ULTRA is gearing up for a massive weekend of electronic music across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, confirming the return of the festival in 2027.

ULTRA New Zealand will kick off in Wellington on Friday, April 16th, before ULTRA Australia in Melbourne on Saturday, April 17th, and ULTRA Beach Gold Coast on Sunday, April 18th, featuring new venues and expanded programming.

Presale registration is now open for ULTRA Australia and ULTRA Beach Gold Coast, with presale tickets available from 10am (AEST) on Thursday, November 5th. General tickets go on sale at 12pm (AEST) on Friday, November 6th. See here for details.

Presale registration is also open for ULTRA New Zealand, with ticket sale dates yet to be announced. See here for details.

Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse will host ULTRA Australia for its eighth edition, while ULTRA Beach Gold Coast is making a move to Doug Jennings Park on the Spit in Main Beach.

The Gold Coast event will also introduce a dedicated RESISTANCE Stage for the first time, bringing ULTRA Worldwide’s house and techno brand to the festival and expanding its offering beyond the mainstage sounds.

Previous editions of the Australian festival have welcomed some of dance music’s biggest names, including Afrojack, Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Carl Cox, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Timmy Trumpet and Zedd.

Across the Tasman, ULTRA New Zealand will return to Wellington Waterfront following its debut earlier this year, which attracted 23,320 attendees and sold out approximately three weeks after tickets went on sale. The festival also delivered a reported $8.57 million net national economic benefit, according to an independent evaluation, including $5.46 million in visitor spending across the Wellington region.

Held on April 10th, the inaugural event featured more than 30 international and local artists across four stages, with The Chainsmokers, DJ Snake, Zedd, Oliver Heldens and Australia’s own Alison Wonderland among the performers.

All three events form part of ULTRA Worldwide’s international festival network, which spans six continents and includes its flagship Ultra Music Festival in Miami.

Artist lineups for the 2027 Australian and New Zealand editions are yet to be announced.
