G Flip is heading back to familiar territory next month, returning to a Melbourne venue where they once worked behind the scenes, long before becoming one of Australia’s biggest musical exports.
The ARIA Award-winning artist will perform an intimate Nova’s Red Room show at St Kilda’s Prince Bandroom on Thursday, November 12th, marking their second appearance in the exclusive live music series.
For G Flip, however, the venue holds a little more significance than most.
“I’m stoked to be playing Nova’s Red Room next month — I’m taking this show back to my old stomping ground where I used to DJ and book bands at the Prince Bandroom in St Kilda,” they said.
The announcement comes amid a whirlwind period for the Melbourne-born musician, whose career has reached new heights this year.
Their track “Bed on Fire” has surpassed 73 million global streams following its inclusion in Prime Video’s Off Campus, while their recent performance alongside Kylie Minogue at the AFL Grand Final introduced them to an audience of almost two million television viewers.
A G Flip recently told Rolling Stone AU/NZ, that MCG performance was particularly meaningful after a vocal cord injury forced them into two weeks of complete silence.

“Having your first thing back being to [a huge crowd] with Kylie Minogue is not exactly the most chill experience,” they recalled. “I’m still pinching myself. I can’t believe I performed with Kylie Minogue.”
The singer has since returned to the festival circuit, including a headline appearance at Yours & Owls, with stadium support dates alongside Robbie Williams also on the horizon.
Meanwhile, G Flip heads into next month’s ARIA Awards with six nominations, including Best Solo Artist, Best Pop Release, Best Australian Live Act and Song of the Year. The ceremony takes place in Sydney on November 18th, just six days after their Red Room performance.
Presented by Amazon’s Alexa+, the upcoming show continues Nova’s series of intimate, invitation-only performances, which has welcomed OneRepublic, Jason Derulo, Ruel, Keli Holiday and Morgan Evans throughout 2026.
Fans hoping to catch G Flip’s homecoming can win exclusive invitations by tuning into Nova 100 Melbourne‘s Jase, Lauren & Clint, the national Fitzy, Wippa & Kate drive show, The Maddy Rowe Aus Music Show, and other Nova programming.
