Jess Glynne is the latest artist confirmed to perform at this year’s Melbourne Cup Carnival.
The UK pop artist will perform exclusively on the opening day of the carnival, Howden Victoria Derby Day on Saturday, October 31st.
“I’m so excited to be returning to Australia and performing at the Melbourne Cup Carnival for the very first time,” Glynne said.
“I can’t wait to bring all the energy, all the hits and an unforgettable live show for thousands on opening day of the carnival.”
The news comes after fellow UK star Robbie Williams was announced as the headliner for Melbourne Cup Day while in the country for his stadium tour of Australia and New Zealand.
Australian DJ FISHER is also confirmed to perform at the course on November 7th.
“Jess Glynne’s debut at Flemington reflects the global calibre of entertainment we bring to the Melbourne Cup Carnival,” Victoria Racing Club CEO, Kylie Rogers, said.

The VRC is expected to announce the headline entertainment for Crown Oaks Day in the coming weeks.
