Laneway’s lineup for 2027 is here – and it’s looking pretty damn good.
Fontaines D.C. and Hayley Williams have been confirmed to lead the bill for the festival’s 22nd edition, after speculation earlier in the month, alongside Slayyyter, ADÉLA, Kim Petras, MUNA, Ninajirachi, Rico Nasty, DIIV, Rachel Chinouriri and plenty more.
The festival has also finally dropped ticket information. Tickets will first be available through the Laneway Festival presale on Wednesday, October 7th. The general sale will follow on Thursday, October 8th.
Both sales will kick off at 10am AEDT in Sydney, 11am AEDT in Melbourne, 11am AEST in Brisbane and 11am NZDT in Auckland, on their respective days. Sign up for presale here.
Fontaines D.C. will return to Laneway for the first time in four years, bringing an extended headline set featuring new music from their forthcoming fifth album, Dopamine Chamber. The Dublin band’s return follows a huge few years that have included headline appearances at Reading & Leeds, sold-out arena tours and back-to-back BRIT Awards.
Williams, meanwhile, will bring ‘The Hayley Williams Show’ to the festival for her first Australian festival appearances as a solo artist. The Paramore frontwoman will perform an extended set drawing from her solo catalogue, including her four-time Grammy-nominated album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.
Her Laneway appearances come alongside previously announced intimate headline shows at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and Melbourne’s Forum Theatre, both of which sold out almost instantly.

Elsewhere, Slayyyter will return to Australia following major appearances at Coachella and Reading & Leeds, while rising pop star ADÉLA will make her Laneway debut. Kim Petras, MUNA and Rachel Chinouriri round out a particularly stacked pop contingent.
Closer to home, Ninajirachi continues her rapid rise through the Laneway ranks. After appearing as an interstitial DJ at the festival in 2025, the Australian producer will return just two years later to headline the Everything Ecstatic Stage.

Today’s announcement comes after Laneway teased the lineup drop in typically cryptic fashion last week, with mysterious street stencils appearing across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland bearing today’s date.
In Sydney, a yellow stencil appeared on Enmore Road in Newtown, while white versions were spotted around Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, setting off speculation about who might appear on the bill.
The 2027 festival will kick off at Sydney’s Centennial Park on Friday, February 12th, before heading to Brisbane Showgrounds the following day. Laneway will then return to its longtime Melbourne home at Flemington Park on Friday, February 19th, before wrapping up at Auckland’s Western Springs on Sunday, February 21st.
Next year’s edition will be a noticeably smaller affair geographically, with Adelaide and Perth both dropped from the touring schedule. When announcing the change, organisers cited the logistical demands of staging multiple festivals across Australia and New Zealand in such a short period.
“Taking a pause allows us to focus on making the festival the best it can be, while freeing up time for more artists to bring headline shows to cities beyond our festival stops.”
The festival is coming off a massive 2026 edition, which marked its 21st anniversary and featured Chappell Roan alongside Wolf Alice, Role Model, Wet Leg, PinkPantheress, Geese and more.
Earlier this year, Laneway co-founder Danny Rogers told Rolling Stone AU/NZ that despite the festival’s growth, its focus remains on finding artists before they make the leap to the biggest stages.
“I’m still more interested in finding who the next Charli is, who the next Fontaines D.C. is, you know,” Rogers said. “I’d rather the festival be in a position where it can move culture, not just be a follower.”
