Fatboy Slim is coming back to Australia in 2027.

The electronic music heavyweight has announced a tour Down Under, but is swapping traditional arenas and festival stages for something a little different. He will return for seven shows across Fremantle, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, including a three-night residency at Sydney’s Carriageworks.

The tour will kick off at Fremantle’s Esplanade Park on March 3rd, before three nights inside Sydney’s heritage bays from March 5th-7th. Brisbane will be next, with Fatboy Slim taking over the South Bank Forecourt for On The Banks on March 10th, while Melbourne will close out the tour with two shows at rhe Underpass, a new outdoor venue beneath the elevated freeway in West Melbourne.

“For this tour to Australia I wanted to get up close with my people, play venues with real atmosphere and have a proper party!,” Fatboy Slim, aka Norman Cook, said. “Bridges, rivers, parks, old railway sheds – if it’s a bit weird and the sound system’s loud enough, I’m there.”

Presale registration opens Monday, September 14th at 9am, with general tickets on sale Tuesday, September 15th at 9am. All times are local. Signup for presale here.

The Australian dates follow a busy 2026 for the British DJ and producer, which has included a Coachella appearance, four shows on Brighton Beach and a closing set at Rock in Rio in Brazil.

Fans can expect staples including “Praise You”, “Right Here Right Now” and “Weapon of Choice” alongside some of Cook’s more recent releases. Among them is “Satisfaction Skank”, which combines his own “The Rockafeller Skank” with the Rolling Stones’ “Satisfaction”, as well as “Funk Drunk”, his collaboration with Brazilian DJ Carola and Felix Da Housecat.

Fatboy Slim last toured Australia in 2025, when he played a run of outdoor shows across the country as part of his ‘Fatboy Slim Loves Australia’ tour.

He has remained one of dance music’s most enduring figures since emerging from the UK scene in the 1990s. His 1998 album You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby spawned some of his biggest tracks, including “Praise You”, “Right Here Right Now” and “The Rockafeller Skank”, while “Weapon of Choice” followed on 2000’s Halfway Between the Gutter and the Stars.
